Company Requirements

To be able to apply for this financing line, your company must meet the following requirements

• Be a SME, small medium-sized enterprise, or any size company (the latter only for projects in cooperation with SMEs).
  • An SME is considered to be a company that employs fewer than 250 people and whose annual turnover does not exceed 50 million euros or whose annual balance sheet does not exceed 43 million euros.
  • A small medium-sized enterprise is considered to be an entity with up to 499 employees that is not an SME.
• Have at least one productive workplace in Castilla y León.
• The personnel participating in the R&D project must be registered with Social Security at a workplace in Castilla y León.
• Excluded: partnerships, public companies, civil societies, associations, Technological Centers, Foundations, public administrations, and non-profit entities.

Limits

The following limits apply to this financing line

• Not to have 2 or more R&D projects funded by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL) in previous calls or in the current one. A project is considered to be in execution when it has received a favorable resolution for granting and its justification or renunciation has not been submitted.
