Company Requirements
To be able to apply for this financing line, your company must meet the following requirements
- Be a legal entity that meets the definition of an SME:
- Fewer than 250 employees.
- Annual revenue not exceeding 50 M€ or annual balance sheet total not exceeding 43 M€.
- Have at least one establishment or branch located in the Valencian Community or, if none exists, the submitted project must be intended to establish its first establishment or branch there.
- At the time of application, the business must demonstrate that it has been in operation for at least two years and must have at least one employee or one self-employed individual who is a corporate partner. This requirement does not apply when the project involves the establishment of a newly created legal entity whose registered office will be located in the Valencian Community.
- Have or be in a position to obtain all the licenses, authorizations, and permits necessary for the project’s implementation.
- Be up to date on tax obligations to the State and the Generalitat, as well as Social Security obligations. Debts that have been deferred, paid in installments, or for which enforcement has been suspended are considered current.
- Not be affected by any of the following situations:
- Issues with financial institutions listed in CIRBE and/or in delinquency registries.
- Negative equity as of the date of the most recent financial statement, unless it is demonstrated that the equity imbalance has been corrected by the date the application is submitted.
- Continuous losses in the last two fiscal years, unless the transaction has or is in a position to obtain a 100% guarantee from AFIN-SGR for the face value and ordinary interest.
- Excluded sectors (based on the SME’s primary activity):
- Economic activities that are illegal under national law.
- Production and trade in tobacco and distilled alcoholic beverages.
- Financial, real estate, and insurance sectors.
- The following are not eligible: public-law entities, public universities, autonomous agencies, public enterprises, public commercial corporations (where more than half of the share capital is owned by a public administration), public foundations, and companies in which these entities hold a majority stake.
