Company Requirements
To be able to apply for this financing line, your company must meet the following requirements
SMEs and self-employed individuals who operate a tourism business in Andalusia and meet the following requirements may apply for the grant:
- Be classified as an SME, regardless of their legal form:
- Fewer than 250 employees.
- Annual turnover not exceeding 50 million euros or annual balance sheet total not exceeding 43 million euros.
- To calculate these figures, the data for affiliated companies (25% to 50% ownership stake) and related companies (majority of voting rights, ability to appoint the board of directors, or controlling influence) must be included. If, even after adding these figures together, the limits are met, each entity may apply for the grant individually.
- Conduct business activities in Andalusia.
- Be registered for the Economic Activities Tax (IAE).
- Be registered or listed in the Andalusian Tourism Registry prior to the publication of the call for applications.
- Tourist-use residences and rural tourist accommodations: The residence must be registered in the Andalusian Tourism Registry by January 31 of the year in which the call for applications is published. In addition, tourist residences must have declared an operating period of at least six months.
- Hospitality: the business must be listed in the Andalusian Tourism Registry before March 31 of the year of the call for applications.
- The business must fall under one of the following activity codes (CNAE):
- Hospitality: 5610 (restaurants and food stands), 5611 (restaurants), 5612 (mobile food service), 5621 (catering for events), 5629 (other food services), and 5630 (beverage establishments).
- Sports activities (ski resorts, golf courses, marinas, polo fields, or others): 9329, 5229, and 9313.
- Leisure, entertainment, and recreation, especially theme parks, water parks, zoos, or botanical gardens: 9321.
- Health resorts, spas, and other wellness facilities: 9604 and 5510.
- Tourism brokerage and tourist reception services: 7990.
- Spanish language instruction for foreigners, cultural tourism, and flamenco: 8552 and 8559.
- Tourist transportation (panoramic buses, horse-drawn carriages, bicycle rentals, or others): 7721, 4939, 5030, 5010, and 5110. In addition, regulated tourist accommodations (hotels, apartments, tourist housing, and rural accommodations) are eligible for the grant because they are registered in the Andalusian Tourism Registry.
- The following are expressly excluded: general partnerships, joint ownership entities, and any other group of individuals that, even if lacking legal personality, could carry out the project.
- The business must not have relocated its operations to the facility where the investment will be made during the two years prior to the application, nor may it do so during the two years following the completion of the investment.
