Company Requirements

To be able to apply for this financing line, your company must meet the following requirements

• Be an existing commercial company or cooperative, with its registered office and an establishment in Spain, of any size.
• Not be part of the public sector: entities listed in article 2 of Law 40/2015 are excluded, as are companies whose direct or indirect public shareholding exceeds 50%.
• Carry out, or intend to carry out, a productive industrial activity or industrial services, within one of the following:
  • Industrial-scale production: CNAE 2025, section C, divisions 10 to 32.
  • Industrial-scale waste recovery: CNAE 38.2x, for operations R2, R3, R4, R5 (excluding soil cleaning), R6, R7, R8, R9, R11 and R12 (excluding dismantling, sorting, drying, conditioning, repackaging and blending).
  • Activities complementary to industrial production, when provided mainly to manufacturing companies (CNAE 10 to 32): industrial packaging (CNAE 82.92, excluding parcel packing and gift wrapping), industrial storage and warehousing (CNAE 52.10, excluding document digitisation and archiving) and repair of machinery and equipment (division 33, with exclusions; CNAE 33.20 only where the company specialises in industrial maintenance; CNAE 33.19 excluded).
  • Services to industry: industrial design (CNAE 71.12) and technical testing and analysis (CNAE 71.20) provided mainly to manufacturing industry.
  • Certain industrialised agri-food activities (grading, sorting, handling, preservation and packaging) not covered by CNAE 10 to 12.
• The goods to be produced must be at TRL 9 or at least TRL 8.
• Achieve a minimum Company Rating of B- in SEPIDES's analysis. Companies with a CC, C or D credit estimate receive an unfavourable opinion.
• For financing applications of €5 million or more, provide a credit rating from an ESMA-registered agency, at the applicant's expense.
• Logistics operators, the distribution sector and the HORECA channel are excluded in all cases, as are intermediation activities and those aimed at the end consumer.

Limits

The following limits apply to this financing line

• Maximum outstanding risk with the Fund: 5 times the applicant's verifiable equity. For Companies without Track Record whose financing is not guaranteed by a group company that is a Company with Track Record, the maximum is 2 times.
• In groups required to consolidate, the group's accumulated outstanding risk may not exceed 5 times consolidated equity.
• Outstanding risk per company or group may not exceed 10% of the Fund's accumulated budget appropriations.
• A Company with Track Record is one that simultaneously has operating expenses (supplies, personnel and other) of no less than €160,000 in each of the last 2 financial years and net turnover in the previous year of no less than €160,000. Otherwise it is a Company without Track Record.
• A company may not file two applications until the first has been resolved. It may, however, file a complementary application to the REINICIA+ FAIIP DANA Mechanism at the same time to co-finance the same project.
• Total public financing on the same items may not exceed 75% of each item of the Eligible Budget (exceptionally, 80%).
