Company Requirements
To be able to apply for this financing line, your company must meet the following requirements
- Be an SME (fewer than 250 employees and annual revenue ≤ 50 M€ or balance sheet total ≤ 43 M€). Individuals and legal entities may be eligible.
- Be the owner of a tourism establishment providing lodging or food service that is registered, authorized, or classified in the REAT (Register of Tourism Companies and Activities of the Xunta de Galicia). The REAT data regarding the establishment, ownership, and representation must match the information provided in the application; if the legal representative is not the one listed in the REAT, this must be verified with the application.
- Eligible types of establishments:
- Hotels, rural tourism establishments, tourist apartments, tourist homes, and tourist hostels (Art. 55.1 of Law 7/2011).
- Food service businesses: restaurants, cafés, and bars (Art. 77 of Law 7/2011).
- The project must be located within the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
- Provide proof, through any legally valid document, of ownership of the property subject to the project or another right authorizing the investment and the operation of the establishment for the entire duration of the activity (5 years).
- The requirements must be met by the deadline for submitting applications.
- Activities excluded by Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1058 are not eligible for subsidies, including investments related to the combustion of fossil fuels.
